Thursday Things

(1) Have you ever gotten a toy airplane stuck in your hair? Yea, me neither. 

(2) Making this Skateboard Swing, as soon as I find a skateboard at a yard sale/thrift store. If you see one, puh-lease pick it up for me....

(3) Obsessed with this chocolate right now. So much so, that I may even hide it from Bubba when we get home from the store so that he forgets we bought it, then secretly eat it while he's sleeping. Doesn't everyone do that?

(4) Sponge Water Bombs. Yea. That's happening this summer.

(5) I chuckled when I noticed this billboard today...Note: if you have to make it clear that the girls are not for rent, then "Rent Us!" is probably not the best wording to put on your billboard next to 2 barely dressed girls. Just a thought. P.S. I prefer Rent the Runway.

Thursday Things

(1) While other parts of the country/world get to enjoy real snow...we got to have a snow day at Tampa Bay Skating Academy with our play group. 

(2) I think 80º is the perfect temperature to play in the snow, don't you?

(3) Is it odd that we left the snow day wearing shorts and a t-shirt? 

(4) So excited about the new ruffled shower curtain I just bought for our master bathroom makeover - for only $19.99!

(5) Hubs may not be as thrilled as I am, but he's not going to be home for quite awhile. So, I'll deal with him when the time comes.

(6) I think Bubba would flip out if I make these cupcakes. He is seriously a choco-holic.

(7) I really LOVE getting packages in the mail. 

(8) Especially, when they are filled with all of the fun goodies that I have ordered from Fabric.com and Mindy's Minute Market. 

(9) Although, a package full of things that I didn't have to spend any money on would be even more amazing. 

(10) It really would have been nice if my shower curtain had arrived at the same time. 

(11) I picked up this ginormous box of plastic eggs at a yard sale last weekend. Now, I just have to come up with fun things to do with them all.

OMG I'm DYING Over Everything!

I was so lucky to spend some quality time with a few amazing women yesterday - my Aunts, Nini and S, and my little cousin, Coco. I just LOVE having family in town! We took a spontaneous trip down to a couple of my favorite little shoppes in South Tampa....Summer House Marketplace and Forty Three Oh 3 Decor Boutique.

I was pretty much in love with, ummmm, EVERYTHING in both stores. Hubby is lucky I didn't make any purchases. I would have bought the whole store....both of them.

Love this table made out of an old door. Thinking how amazing it would look in my dining room.

Inspo for a mirror Nini and I want to jazz up for her step-daughter. 

I am totally loving old scales right now; and I would love it if I could find one at a yard sale. All the ones in the boutique were at least $70...way more than Hubby would I want to spend. 

I've been looking for a replacement tray since mine broke (when Hubby stepped on it).

OMG I want an old wheel to do this. 

Nini and I are loving the ladders. They would be great on our pool decks to hang towels and other wet items. 

So it looks like I have a lot of work ahead of me trying to find these things at reasonable prices to fix up myself!
